Hi everyone! Happy Martin Luther King day!
I feel like I’m the only person in Los Angeles who has to work today– the entire entertainment industry is shut down for the day, so my friends and husband have the day off! Bummer for me.
Luckily, we have a very rainy day (a rarity here!!!) so I’ve got my windows open and am enjoying the peaceful background noise. Ahhhh….
Anyone else watch the Golden Globes last night? I love watching the red carpet pre-show!
I thought Olivia Wilde had the best dress last night:

Emily Blunt and January Jones looked stunning as well! For some reason, I didn’t feel like there were as many breath-taking dresses this year as there have been in the past…
I’m also pleased to report that I guessed more of the Golden Globe winners this year than my husband!! Wahoo!!
Yes, we’re big nerds– we always print out the ballots before the awards show to see who can guess the most winners.
Almost every year, my husband wins. He works in the industry, and knows way more about this stuff than I do. So it’s a big deal when I end up winning! It was quite the upset!! Ha ha.
This morning, I celebrated my victory with a fun breakfast: my first “banana hammock,” inspired by Chocolate-Covered Katie!
I stuffed my banana with almond butter, cinnamon, raisins and coconut. YUM!!!
I highly recommend banana hammocks– they’re fun, and you can stuff all sorts of healthy, creative toppings in there! The variations are endless! Thanks for the idea, Katie!
We’re going to see Leap Year tonight! Anyone seen it yet? I hope it’s good! I love Amy Adams.
I’ll let you guys know what I think about it tomorrow.
Hope you all have a good night!
