Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! Or should I say, happy LOST day?!
I can’t wait to see how they follow the amazing episode from last week!
This morning was unusual for me, because I wasn’t hungry as early as I normally I am! Weird… I didn’t have a huge dinner last night, and I didn’t even have much green tea this morning! What’s the deal? I decided to just go with it, and wait until I felt hungry to make my green juice. Finally, around noon, my appetite showed up!
Juice time!
Into this goblet went a head of romaine, 1/2 bunch kale, 1 small lemon, 1/2 green apple, 2 carrots, and a small chunk of fresh ginger. The ginger really added a warm, spiciness to this juice! I’m not a HUGE ginger fan, but I’m learning to like it…
Since my juice didn’t take very long to make, and it was “lunch time,” I decided to dive into my Physique 57 workout for the day. Today I tackled the 57-minute Full Body Workout:
They’re not kidding when they call this a full body workout! Every muscle in my body is currently shaking. I feel completely and utterly worked from head to toe! Not only do I love the workout, I also love the personality of the instructor, Tanya Becker (creator of the Physique 57 technique!) She is full of energy, and I love her upbeat mantras! While my thighs were BURNING, she kept calling us “thigh warriors.” Meet my thigh master:
This little playground ball works wonders! How creative to use this little ball, instead of expensive and bulky equipment to tone your lower half! Genius.
Now that I’ve tried two of the three workout DVDs that came in my set, I feel like I can more confidently give this program two thumbs WAY up! I’m a sweaty mess, and I am FEELING it the next day, too! Love that. My muscles are changing and I’m getting stronger already!
I’m off to make a green smoothie, and later I’ve got to squeeze in a quick 30-minute run. I missed my run yesterday, so it’s make-up time to stay on track with my marathon training. (Actually, I’m WAY off-track from marathon training, thanks to a multitude of issues… but my running buddies and I have decided that some walking during the marathon is OKAY, and we’re just going to do the best we can at this point– we still have two months of training left, so we’ll see what we can do!)

I’ve wanted to try P57 since hearing about Kelly Ripa doing the workout! So great to hear you’re liking it – I think it’s time I order it!
I’m pretty off track in terms of my marathon training as well – especially since it’s on April 19th! I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I may have to walk part of it though and that doesn’t bother me. I had to qualify to get there, now time doesn’t matter!
I’ve heard about physique 57 a lot around here lately. Glad to finally hear an actual review of it! It sounds pretty good!
We are excited to see what happens on LOST as well! So happy to hear the workout DVD is good, will have to look into that one.
