New Digs and a Giveaway!

Hi friends! Happy Monday!

Thanks for bearing with me this past week! After a full week of cleaning out the old apartment, we are FINALLY DONE moving– and it feels so good to be settling into our new home! There are still a few things we’d like to add to the new place– we would love some speaker stands, a few more pictures, and some house plants– but all and all, it’s really coming along! While we’ve still got some work to do, I wanted to go ahead and share some photos of our new place!

Here’s our new living area:

We are really excited about our push-button gas fireplace, too!

And our new kitchen:

Thank goodness for IKEA– that black rail above my stove makes organizing my kitchen so much easier! I’m keeping my measuring cups, spoons, and most-used spices above the stove, so I don’t have to dig around for them in a drawer every time I cook! Plus, I think it looks cute. :D

The kitchen is the most important room of a home to me– I spend a lot of time in there, and I want it to be cute and efficient! We looked at a lot of apartments before deciding on this one, and I love that our new kitchen has a gas stove and plenty of cabinet space! I’ve got a lot of kitchen gadgets to be stored, so cabinet space is a must!!!
